Week 30 has quickly come and gone. What a milestone to reach and it only means we are getting closer. I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to 4th of July because I am ALWAYS the one who gets stuck having to work at the butt crack of dawn the next morning - it’s been like this for years. However, I did enjoy spending it with my family though! July fourth really seems to be the kick off to summer here in Coeur d’Alene, but I feel like summer is just about over with this baby on the way!
HOW FAR ALONG// 31 weeks! This baby will be here in NO time! I still fear it is flying by.
BABY SIZE// The size of a coconut! I guess you could say it looks like I have a little ball in there. She weighs about 3 1/2 pounds and over 16inches long. Her head is currently down which is great!
TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN// I had a great Doc. appointment last week and everything is looking good and I only seemed to have gained 2 pounds making that a total of 23lbs so far!
MATERNITY CLOTHES// Let’s just say - dresses, dresses, dresses… and pj shorts.
STRETCH MARKS// Nope! More like sunburn marks though… oops.
SLEEP// Great!
BEST MOMENTS THIS WEEK// My sister and her kiddos visited for the fourth this week and I was so excited to see her! It’s been too long and I absolutely loved getting to connect with her and hear all of her birth stories with her babies and it makes me so anxious to experience mine!
MISS ANYTHING// Being able to drink iced coffee whenever I want at anytime of the day!
MOVEMENT// Very subtle, but I still feel her flicker in there often. Not too many harsh movements.
CRAVINGS// Iced coffee duh ^^^ lol oh and holy mother of winter - ICE!!! I have been chewing on ice ~constantly~ guys. I love it. I bought a bag of ice for the house that won’t last long and I’ve been traveling to Sonic to get cups of just those cute ice pellets. I want to go get some naowwww.
NAUSEA?// None!
SYMPTOMS// I’ve felt some heavy pressure below my chest what almost feels like gas bubbles but I can’t really tell if it might be some sort of braxton hicks because it sure don’t feel good! It could also just be heartburn too…
BELLY IN OR OUT// Very much in. I can’t even stick my finger in it anymore!
HAPPY OR MOODY// Happy :) Everyone tells me I always look so content and smiley. I’ve definitely been more emotional though.
LOOKING FORWARD TO// Our first birthing class this tomorrow! I’m curious to see what information we will learn and I hope Max enjoys it too.
